This week on America's Black Forum: Dr. Edward Barksdale, a pediatric surgeon, creates a novel holistic hospital-based violence intervention program for 6 to 16-year-olds. At the Kentucky Derby Museum there is a permanent exhibit called Black Heritage in Racing which focuses on the history of Black Horsemen and Women in the sport. The Black Jockeys Lounge, located in downtown Louisville, is the destination for great food, cocktails, and to learn the history of Black horse jockeys operated by entrepreneur Tawana Bain.
